                                    Office of Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs consists of three divisions and one center: Division of AdmissionDivision of Registration & CurriculumDivision of Publications & PublicityChinese Language Education Center. The office provides all-respect of academic affair services to the students.

The dean of academic affairs oversees the three divisions and one centers. Besides, he is also responsible for coordinating the academic affairs of the three colleges of the university in order to enhance teaching and research developments.

The tasks of Division of Admission include overall coordination of recruiting services and planning of student recruiting strategy. The tasks of Division of Registration & Curriculum include registration, academic records and transcripts, and graduation credit evaluation. We also offer course-related information, schedule the university’s academic calendar, and manage the classrooms of the school. The tasks of Division of Publications & Publicity include:

(1) The publication of “Journal of Educational Practice and Research”, “school introduction”, “university news” etc.

(2) Offering assistance in the related affairs of the university’s publications.

Chinese Language Education Center(CLEC), a subsidiary of National Taipei University of Education(NTUE), was founded in the winter of 2006 for teaching Chinese as a second language. More than 5000 students from over 40 countries and territories from age 6 to 60 have learned Mandarin Chinese language in CLEC.

Created the ASEAN Human Resources Education Center for the first time, cultivating basic-level talent training bases for Taiwanese businessmen.
The ASEAN Human Resources Education Center was established on August 1, 2016. It is the first center related to Southeast Asia established by an university in the country.At the beginning of its establishment, it mostly promoted the language and culture of Southeast Asia, worked hard to cooperate with Taiwanese companies in Southeast Asia, and undertook the Ministry of Education "New Residents Language Teaching Support Personnel Enhancing Special Class Training Program", Cathay Life Charity Foundation's "New Residents and Their Second Generation Excellence Happiness Project", etc., have accumulated rich experience in cooperation in Southeast Asia, and intend to establish a Southeast Asian student exchange garden.At the same time Cultivate our students to expand their international horizons in Southeast Asia. In recent years, it is hoped to integrate academic programs and school resources through The ASEAN Human Resources Education Center. In addition to promoting the international mobility of Southeast Asian talents, it also hopes to become a base for Taiwanese businessmen to cultivate grassroots talents.
