Under the guidance of Professor Ya-Jhen Chien from the Department of Children's English Education, the project was collaboratively completed by Yun-Ning Xu, a third-year student in the Department of Education, and Guan-Ting Lin, a second-year student in the Department of Children's English Education (Master's Program). Emphasizing the student as an agent, the project utilized Minecraft Education—an immersive digital technology tool—to explore the culture of the Tao tribe, including their marine legends, flying fish festivals, traditional clothing, and unique underground architecture. The primary learning objective for students was to recreate a Tao underground dwelling within Minecraft, engaging in interactive tasks to learn about Tao lifestyle and culture while enhancing their English communication skills. Additionally, the teaching plan integrated interactive learning platforms like Pear Deck and Kahoot!, along with digital tools such as Google Earth, to enrich the learning experience.

We aim to inspire more educational partners to incorporate engaging activities into bilingual digital curriculum design, thereby providing students with diverse learning opportunities.
