一、為配合政府擴大招收外國籍學生政策，吸引優秀外國學生進入本中心就讀，以進一步推展本校國際化，依據「教育部補助大專校院及其附設華語文教學機構設置外國學生獎學金核撥作業規定」，特訂定「國立臺北教育大學教務處華語文中心外國學生獎學金實施要點」，以下簡稱本要點。
二、 本要點所指之外國學生，係指未具僑生身分，且不具中華民國國籍之外籍學生。
三、 經費來源：由「教育部補助大專校院及其附設華語文教學機構設置外國學生獎學金核撥作業規定」補助款款項下勻支。
四、 獎助對象:
(一)就讀本中心季班課程之外國學生，且每周上課時數達15小時以上。
(二)申請獎學金學生前一季學業成績平均為班級前四分之一，且每季缺席時數不得超過全季課程四分之一。
(三)申請學生如已受領中華民國政府之各種奬學金，不得重複申請本項奬學金。
五、 申請方式及時間：於每季開課1個月後備齊奬學金申請表、前一季成績單及當季學生證影本，向本中心提出申請。
六、 獎助名額：1至數名為原則，惟須視當年度經費狀況及人數彈性分配。
七、 獎學金審查由中心行政人員先進行資格初審，再由華語文中心推動委員就申請者學業成績及出缺席表現等相關證明核發。
八、核給金額及核發方式：
(一)每人每季3000元。
(二)每次核定一季，自申請核准後，按次核發。
(三)受獎學生須配合中心進行華語學習經驗分享等活動，並做為下一季申請獎學金之參考。
(四)受奬學生如有未註冊入學、學期中休/退學或有行為不良紀錄時，即停發其獎學金。
九、 本要點經本校行政會議通過，陳請校長核定後公告施行。
National Taipei University of Education Chinese Language Education Center Foreign Nationals Scholarship Guidelines Approved at the 98th Administrative Council Meeting, September 25, 2013 1. In an effort to encourage outstanding international students to enroll in CLEC for academic and language studies, and to take part in the government’s foreign nationals enrollments policy, thus the establishment of the scholarship exclusively for foreign nationals enrolled in NTUE would be implemented. 2. By the term “Foreign National,” one refers to those who are NOT of R.O.C. nationals or overseas compatriots students. 3. The source of the scholarship is from subsidies from the Ministry of Education. 4. Application requirements: (1) Students who are enrolled and currently undergoing study in CLEC seasonal classes; the hours of classes per week must be more than 15 hours. (2) Applicants must obtain scores on average, the top 1/4 in the class from the season before. Absence of classes for every season cannot exceed more than 1/4 of total class count. (3) One may not apply for this scholarship, if one has already received other scholarship from the government of R.O.C. 5. Method of application and time: For those who wish to apply, one would need to fill out the scholarship application form and prepare the report card from the previous season and a photocopy of students ID from the current season. After all the related documents are ready, please hand in to the CLEC office a month after the start of the seasonal class. 6. The number of scholarships awarded is subject to adjustment, depending on the total number of students as well as the funds available for the current academic year. 7. After the applicants submit the application form and documents, the CLEC office staff will first evaluate whether the applicants meet the requirements. Then, the CLEC Steering Committee will evaluate applicants in accordance with their grades and attendance and assess the scholarship offers. 8. Stipend and Distribution: (1) Recipients would receive 3000NTD for one season. (2) Recipients would receive the scholarship for the previous season as their application is approved. (3) Recipients would be required to attend various learning experience sharing seminars and other activities, in order to be used as the reference for the next season’s scholarship application. (4) If the recipients are found to have yet registered for school, dropped out, expelled, or having other inappropriate conduct on record, the scholarship distribution will be terminated immediately. 9. These guidelines are in effect subject to the approval of the Administrative Council Meeting. * In case of any discrepancy between the English translation and the Chinese original, the Chinese version shall prevail.
